L32 Handmade Noodles @ Tampines 1 - QQ Noodles with Super Spicy Chilli Ban Mian

  In the midst of a rainy January day in Singapore, my girlfriend and I found ourselves yearning for a warm, comforting meal. Since we were in Tampines Central, she suggested the renowned Ban Mian at Tampines 1, a subsidiary of the legendary L32 Ban Mian in Geylang. Upon arrival, we were met with the familiar sight of a lengthy queue. Patiently, we waited for about 20 minutes before finally collecting our dishes. We ordered the pork balls noodles and Ban Mian dried version with an added chicken cutlet. For the soup version, we were treated to a delectably savory and slightly sweet broth, complemented by a touch of raw fresh egg. In the dried version, my girlfriend noted that the sauce leaned towards the sweet side for her taste. The Ban Mian noodles, thicker than those at regular stalls, maintained a satisfying texture.
